Introductory Chinese (Mandarin) Language and Culture
This course is an easy-to-follow introduction to the basics of Mandarin Chinese. It provides the foundation of Chinese grammar, as well as extensive work on pronunciation and vocabulary building. As the course progresses it provides ample opportunity for conversation practice utilizing the Drama Method®. Explores various themes touching upon Chinese society and cultural affairs.
Japanese Through Drama
This course practices Japanese business situations using the Drama Method®. Students practice specific expressions and vocabulary then simulate their use in context. Tailor-made programs are designed according to the student needs, combining grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and kanji studies.

Our client's corporate strategy saw them beginning negotiations to enter the Chinese market within three months. Accordingly, they felt it essential for the employees in charge of the Chinese project to have some experience in Chinese language and culture studies. None had studied the language thus far. It was decided that they should be able to make basic conversation and have suitable business culture awareness within three months.

MLS‘s proposal
Three-1.5 hour lesson per week, divided into five themes: basic comprehensibility/scope of basic Chinese/body language in Chinese/voice and pronunciation. In every lesson, students are required to practice in dialogue exercises as an extension to that day's study theme. MLS trainers conduct this intensive program for three months and help students with the essentials. Follow-up support programs are offered as necessary.
